Just a brief reminder that the first day of school for Sandy Run students is Tuesday, September 7. The 7th and 8th grade will report at normal time (7:42 a.m.) and will be dismissed at 2:42 p.m. The 6th graders will report four hours later at approximately 11:30 a.m. and be dismissed at 2:42 p.m.
Sixth graders should be at their bus stops four hours after the usual pick-up time as listed in the Ambler Gazette and the District website. For example, if a child is normally picked up at 7:05 a.m., he/she will be picked up on Tuesday at 11:05 a.m.

The school is designed to foster a humanistic approach to education where the primary focus centers on students who are making the transition from childhood through adolescence to adulthood. The blending of elementary and secondary staffs helps generate and maintain articulation of scope and sequence throughout the K-12 system. Within this structure the middle school staff is charged with making education relevant to the needs and interests of individual students.
