Over 22 years of experience as both a middle school and high school principal and as a Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Pladus is beginning his fourth year as the Superintendent of Schools in the School District of Upper Dublin.
Career/Professional Highlight
In January of 1999, Dr. Pladus was presented with the "National High School Principal of the Year Award" in Washington, D.C. by the U. S. Secretary of Education Richard Riley and executives from corporate sponsor MetLife and the National Association of Secondary Principals. He is the only principal from Pennsylvania to have been awarded this distinction.
