Mission Statement

Certified School Nurses serve a unique role in the school setting. "They are the critical link between the educational and health communities" (National Association of School Nurses). Their goal is to promote lifelong healthful living through health promotion, health screening and health accommodation. As part of the educational team, Certified School Nurses coordinate the resources of the family, school and community to help children achieve optimum health and academic success.
