Pustay

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Bridget Pustay will be our next Director of Teaching and Learning.  Bridget, currently an Elementary Principal in the Central Bucks School District, rose to the top of an incredibly competitive interview process that involved input from stakeholders across the District.  We are excited that she will soon join the “nest,”  officially beginning her tenure in Upper Dublin following the Thanksgiving break.

An educator with more than 20 years of experience, Bridget’s career has included positions at all levels, K-12.  She has held the following teaching positions: kindergarten teacher, first-grade teacher, middle school ELA teacher, and reading specialist.  Additionally, she has held the following administrative positions: high school house principal and elementary principal.

Bridget is a well-respected educator and is described as “incredibly student-centered” with a passion for ensuring that “all students will reach their full potential.”  Her work to ensure that all students receive the best education position is admirable, as is her commitment to supporting staff members who provide instruction and services to students.  Bridget’s experience and work ethic will serve her well as she becomes a UD Cardinal, and her commitment to equity will complement our work to empower every student in our District.

Although we are very excited to welcome Bridget to the UD family, it is bittersweet to say farewell to Ms. Meredith Penner, whose legacy in the District spans both regular and special education and whose content knowledge, personality, and passion for all things education will never be forgotten.  Our loss is most certainly PaTTAN’s gain!
