Statement of the Board of School Directors of the Upper Dublin School District

(as stated orally on the record at the Board’s Legislative Meeting)
The Board of Directors of the Upper Dublin School District is, without question, fully committed to the mission of the District, that is, to provide the best educational opportunities and supports for all students.
The Board is, without question, opposed to anything contrary to that mission including acts of hatred, bullying or intolerance against any person or group.
The Board is, without question, opposed to antisemitism and any other religious or cultural discrimination or intolerance of any type against members of any community.
The Board is 100% committed to inclusivity within our schools and our community.
The Board is 100% committed to the safety and security of all students.
The Board is 100% committed to all students being able to grow, learn and thrive in safe spaces.
The Board does not, without question, support or condone acts or words of hatred or intolerance that are offensive to members of our community or that result in students feeling insecure or unsafe.
The Board is 100% committed to leading our School District and our community through turbulent times by fostering security and belonging for all students and all people.
