Fort Washington Elementary School

Fort Washington first graders enjoyed a sweet day of learning with a special Apple Day! Students practiced apple-themed CVC (consonant–vowel–consonant) words and wrote short pieces about which apple flavor was their favorite and why. For a math-inspired apple lesson, they surveyed classmates and collected data to graph the class’s top pick. A fun and flavorful day of cross-curricular learning!
