Mrs. Griffin's "Don’t Judge a Book by its cover" project encouraged 4th graders at Thomas Fitzwater Elementary School to read different books, make predictions, and be a part of a reading community. Students experienced a cafe-like environment, enjoyed hot chocolate, and were surprised with a new book based upon their developed brochure.
Congratulations first semester UDHS SHINE (Selflessness, Humility, Integrity, Nobility, Empathy) award winners! Gus Platt, Connor Dynan, Julia Scullen, Brendan Murphy, Reese Fichter, Matthew Logerstedt, Maisie Williams, Elijah Griffin, Gabbi Ginaldi, and Nick Loza were honored.
