Maple Glen Elementary students have been writing and decorating thank-you letters for veterans through the Operation Gratitude project. Several classrooms welcomed United States Naval Officer Bryan Ortiz, who shared his experiences serving our country, and students in Ms. Merrigan’s class had the opportunity to share presentations about family members who have served in the armed forces.
