Maple Glen students recently created their own version of the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! After reading "Balloons Over Broadway" and exploring the origins of the parade, students in Ms. Toth’s Kindergarten, Mrs. Winter’s First Grade, and Mrs. Stianchi’s Third Grade classes designed their own balloons, built colorful NYC-themed sets, and even programmed robots to follow the route. This project blended hands-on STEM thinking with imaginative storytelling, giving students a meaningful, joyful way to connect with a beloved Thanksgiving celebration.
