Maple Glen Elementary School

Maple Glen students in Mrs. Middendorf’s first grade class received a special surprise yesterday when they discovered that their teacher is a published author! 📚 As part of their journey around the world to explore different holiday traditions, the class “traveled” to Germany to learn about the Christmas Pickle tradition. 🥒 After stamping their passports, students gathered for storytime, where Mrs. Middendorf read The Christmas Pickle—and then revealed that she wrote the book herself.
