Throughout the school year, fifth graders from Jarrettown Elementary and Thomas Fitzwater Elementary have been paired as pen pals with a peer from the other school. After months of writing back and forth—and sharpening their letter-writing skills—the pen pals finally met in person for a day of activities designed to build connections and foster new friendships as they prepare for next year at Sandy Run.
