Fifth graders at Thomas Fitzwater Elementary School put their STEM skills to the test by designing and building their own boats for a class sailing race! 
Using a variety of materials, students worked to create vessels that could travel quickly and stay on course—then tested their designs with a special tournament in the school’s UDesign Lab.
