Students from the PBIS (Positive Behavior Incentives and Supports) Committee at Sandy Run Middle School collected more than 1,300 books for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia’s Reach Out and Read program! The books will be given to young children during well visits at CHOP primary care centers, helping encourage families to read together from an early age. Through student leadership, the committee promotes Sandy Run’s SOAR values—Show Respect, Own Your Actions, Act Safely, and Reach for Excellence—by giving back to the community. Way to SOAR, Sandy Run!
