Thomas Fitzwater fifth graders explored ✨ Magical Mixtures ✨ this week with hands-on experiments and creative costumes! Students investigated how mixtures form and separate, how they appear in water, air, and soil, and how physical mixtures differ from chemical ones. The students (and their teachers!) also came dressed as mixtures or solutions, prompting the students to team up, ask questions, and use evidence from class to justify how each costume should be classified.
